THREE MORE
NEW ADVANTAGES OF VIRTUAL PROJECTED BACKGROUNDS OVER GREEN SCREEN

Projected virtual backgrounds has a number of important advantages over green screen but now, we have just discovered three more advantages that we did not even recognize.

True zoom:  When you zoom in with green screen, you zoom in on the subject but not the background thus making zoom awkward or unrealistic.  Not a problem with projected backgrounds.

True focus:  When you focus with green screen the focus changes equally on the subject and the background which is not realistic.  Not a problem with projected backgrounds.

Shadows:  If shadows are wanted, they can be generated rather easily with virtual backgrounds but not with green screen.

It is becoming clear that projected virtual backgrounds is not just an alternative to green screen but a method that offers a variety of distinct advantages that just can't be done with green screen.

It also can be used to PROJECT the green background for green screen which greatly improves the results.

YOU CAN'T BRAG ABOUT YOURSELF, BUT YOU CAN BRAG ABOUT YOUR EQUIPMENT AND END PRODUCTS

It is really egotistical and even unacceptable for a photographer to brag about how good they are but it is very easy to brag about your special equipment you have that enables you to create products no one else can do.  This is what makes virtual backgrounds so important not only as a creative tool but also as a marketing tool.  You can provide your customers with a truly unique experience.

ARE YOU A MEDIOCRE PHOTOGRAPHER?

No one wants to be called mediocre but if you are shooting shots much like everyone else in the area with nothing really really special and unique, then you are mediocre and you have a ton of competition including your own customers who like to do their own pictures and not go to a professional.

If you want to see your business grow, you have to offer the public something really special that they cannot do themselves or get elsewhere.  That is exactly what virtual backgrounds helps you to do.

KARAH DOES IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!
West Virginia Photographer shows how she does it

Last month we showed Karah Sambuco's first attempt as using her new Digital Scene Machine background projector with a self portrait.
(CLICK HERE TO SEE LAST MONTH'S ARTICLE ON KARAH)
Then she sent us another session using her new digital Scene Machine along with pictures to show how she did it.  The subject is a volley ball player who wanted something "different".  She really got her wish.  The subject is also Karah's ambassador at the local high school.  She has placed the image on her Facebook which has created quite a bit of a buzz.

Then a few days later Karah sent us several additional images she created with Virtual Backgrounds.  Karah clearly shows how the Scene Machine virtual background system can very quickly become an extremely creative tool.  The creative possibilities are endless.

STOP being just like most every other photographer shooting similar shots mostly on location.  Be different.  Be creative.  Let virtual backgrounds help you expand your creative powers and your bottom line profits.

WHAT CAN PHOTOGRAPHERS LEARN FROM A HOME INSPECTION SERVICE?

Picture
A whole lot.  There are thousands of home inspection services, most of which are even licensed…so why pick a particular service?  They all claim to be good.  But what if one service has tools and services almost no one else had…tools that made perfect sense and the cost of the inspection with these special tools was not all that different from what those who did it the old fashioned way charged.?  Of course the inspection service with the special equipment would get a lot of the business from anyone who really researched the possibilities…and why not?  They provided a better value. If one is buying a home you want the best inspection you can get and if one service advertises that they have equipment no one else has, then that is a deciding factor.  In this case, the lift station that enables the inspector to look at things up close that others view from afar.

It’s the same thing with professional photography.  All photographers claim they are good and real good but in reality most are mediocre and really shooting shots just like anyone else.  But what if a few had specialized equipment like virtual projected backgrounds that enabled them to create images others could not do?  Again, this is what makes projected virtual backgrounds such a powerful tool.  It provides the owner with a definite advantage enabling them to produce product no one else can do.  They provide the best value and their business will grow.
