THE VB STORY

Picture

Years ago, Henry & Marian Oles discovered the power of the projected background process for their Texas studio.  They were so successful using projected backgrounds that they began to write and speak about the concept for professional photographers throughout North America and then Europe and Australia.  Eventually they designed and manufactured the ultimate background projector which they named the Scene Machine.  Thousands of systems have been sold world wide.  In 2014 they introduced a digital version of The Scene Machine which made it possible to do even video photography with moving video backgrounds.  They call it “video on video”.  Gradually photographers are learning the real power of the projected virtual background process and how it has many advantages over the green screen process for both video and portrait production.

Virtual Backgrounds is headquartered in San Marcos, Texas where the company has a demonstration and training center.

 2 for 1
ONE SYSTEM FOR PORTRAITS
& VIDEO PRODUCTION

Thanks to the digital revolution, the digital Scene Machine is now the perfect tool for producing professional portrait photography and for video production.  It expands the world for both video and portrait professionals, opening new profit opportunities.  The exact same system now performs in two different worlds.

The VB system is a clear alternative to green screen for both venues, saving an enormous amount of time especially through eliminating post production and many other restrictions that come with regular green screen.  Now that most DSLR cameras do both video and still photography, the digital Scene Machine is the one tool that lets any DSLR user do both video and portrait production.  It also works with many newer video only cameras including 4K.  Imagine the possibilities!

READ THE PRODUCT REVIEW BY PROFESSOR CHUCK GLOMAN
OF DESALES UNIVERSITY

When representatives of TV Technology News first saw the digital Scene Machine at the Government Video trade show in Washington DC, not only did they give the company an award for having one of the most innovative and affordable products at the show but they also asked if they could put the product up for review.

BACKGROUNDS ARE IN BIG TIME--
JUST LOOK AT AMERICAN IDOL AND DANCING WITH THE STARS

PictureTV SCREEN CAPTURE
Creative contemporary backgrounds for photography and video are hotter today than ever before as seen on many popular TV programs.  Backgrounds are a really important component in both photography and videography.

All you have to do is watch Dancing With The Stars or American Idol.  The backgrounds are phenomenal.  The same is true for portraits.  People today want exciting images where dynamic backgrounds help to set the stage.  But they also want some more traditional looks.  Just taking candid shots in the park is no longer enough.

There is no better way to offer the greatest variety of backgrounds than through using the projected virtual background process in a studio setting where the photographer has total control.

DAN GUTIER GENERATES MORE THAN $200,000 FOR CHARITIES

Dan Gutier had a dream…a dream to operate a studio that was so unique that it would be highly successful even when other studios were failing and some thought professional photography was finished.  Dan invested in a virtual background system which he began to use for his fairy photography of children in the Dallas Texas area.  He developed a unique marketing plan that involved working in cooperation with charities and this plan has earned over $200,000 for his charities.

Dan started out working in a flea market studio and has grown and grown to now being located in an upscale mall next to Neiman Marcus.

Dan is  living proof that if you produce a unique product that the public desires and use good business practices then one can be highly successful.

IT'S A NO BRAINER

WHY WOULD ANY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OR VIDEOGRAPHER NOT WANT TO USE PROJECTED VIRTUAL BACKGROUNDS?
Many photographers come up with a variety of excuses for not looking in to the virtual background process as a way to grow their business.  Their excuses include, I already use green screen and it is much cheaper, I don’t have a studio so I can only take pictures on location, my customers don’t want studio pictures, I don’t have any money, and many more.   They don’t realize that green screen can take an enormous amount of time and it has many limitations when compared with the projected background process.

Working only on location is a huge handicap since every amateur is a location photographer because they don’t have a studio.  Strangely, many long established professional photographers have given up their studio not realizing that having a studio is a true differentiating factor.  Amateurs and low level professionals don’t have studios.  And a studio does not require a commercial location.  A studio can be set up most anywhere, even on location.

Yes, many customers don’t want old fashioned rigid studio portraits but it’s a totally different story when the photographer can generate an infinite variety of images through using a wide range of complementary backgrounds and be in total control of the lighting and more.  And when it comes to money, some of our customers report that they pay for their system within a few weeks or months with sales generated because of their use of projected backgrounds.
If you are really serious about generating maximum dollars through photography and/or if you are just interested in having fun being maximally creative without leaving your studio, take time to discover what projected virtual backgrounds can do for you.
