READ WHAT MARLENE HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE 7 PIECE POSER SHE JUST RECEIVED.

" I ordered and quickly received this group poser by Fed Ex, in pristine condition.  It was so easy to figure out how to use it that I put it to work the very next day for a family birthday party with 20 people to photograph as a group.  I loved the flexibility where the different sized steps could be used on any of the four sides.

It's so nice to be able to seat people so they feel and look more at ease than having them all stand.  I will be using this poser a lot for my family and other group sessions!"

VIDEO PRODUCTION -
THE FUTURE OF PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY

It won't be long at all before digital video is the only way to capture images...video or still.  Imagine running the camera and being able to capture the exact best frame for enlargements into a portrait.  No more..."oops you blinked...we have to shoot that again.  But the real future for professional photographers is producing short videos for companies that want to have video instructions, video marketing, professional looking videos for a infinite variety of web applications and much more.  Whereas the public today feels they can do their own still photography, they don't feel comfortable in doing their own video production.  They will be looking for those who can provide the services they need.  The new digital virtual background system provides both still and moving backgrounds for video production.

There are two components to every studio operation…the photographer's creative skill and the tools the photographer uses to help produce the very best work possible with maximum variety and appeal.

The professional photographer must clearly distinguish themselves from all others. There are many tools available but other than your camera and lights, one stands out far above all others and that is projected virtual backgrounds.  Yes, it is expensive and yes, it takes a little effort to learn to use it but in the end, it can be your very best investment to help you get your potential clients to notice that you are clearly different and beyond anyone else because you have the latest and greatest tool. Virtual projected backgrounds enable you to produce so much more so much better so much faster in the privacy of your facility compared with trotting around town to do location photography just like every amateur can do.

Look at sample images, review our web site, watch the videos, read the testimonials, talk with photographers who use virtual backgrounds and you will soon come to the conclusion that projected virtual backgrounds is indeed your very best investment….by far.  If you can think of a better one, tell us.

BREAK FREE FROM
CONVENTIONAL THINKING
OPEN YOUR MIND TO NEW POSSIBILITIES
These are difficult times and when things are not going well,
it's time to look at making some changes.

In the late 20th century, just about every professional photographer took standard formal studio pictures with just one or two mottled canvas backgrounds.  Then photographers began to do location photography with local backgrounds and that worked well UNTIL the technology enabled every amateur to capture similar shots at no cost.  This created a huge problem for the professional…infinite competition from digital camera toting amateurs that did a good enough job…and the professional's business faltered.   Now what?  If there were no options, then quitting would be the answer but instead of quitting one can place maximum emphasis on variety and offering the "Hollywood look"….photographing clients in a huge variety of environments and poses and outfits ranging from the traditional job application portrait to specialty things the public cannot do on their own but will love. Having a formal well equipped studio is a key element but a studio has to produce ultimate variety and that comes with using projected virtual backgrounds for ultimate variety without stepping outdoors.

The biggest restriction on professional photographers is their adherence to conventional style…as they have done for years.  But yesterday's look is never going to come back.  Now it is so critical to come out with as much creative innovation as is possible with virtual backgrounds or extensive image enhancement such as what Richard Sturdavant offers his special clients or the work Cindy Cofer Barclay offers her clients.  Check out the work one of our newest VB users, Karah Sambuco. The key is to force yourself to be open minded.  It is frightful how many professionals, even top name professionals, will not allow themselves to even investigate new concepts let alone try them for themselves.  That is a sure ticket to failure.

Yes, change is scary but CHANGE BRINGS OPPORTUNITY...IT IS UP TO YOU TO TAKE ADVNTAGE OF IT AND SIEZE IT.   BE A LEADER IN YOUR COMMUNITY.

LOCATION PHOTOGRAPY IS KILLING
THE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER

Most professionals today brag about working on location and gleefully claim they don't have a studio any more.  They don't realize that taking this path is a path to professional extinction.  Location photography is now what any amateur can do quite well with their digital cameras and have fun doing it.  Therefore, the competition is infinite and prices one can charge tumble.  But working in a professional studio, especially with infinite backgrounds to set the stage coupled with a talented creative photographer takes one to a whole new level.  Amateurs and many professionals don't have studios.  They don't know technique; and therefore they work only on location with all of its downfalls.

Yes, many customers may start out saying they don't want studio photography but that is only until they see what modern studio photography can do for them.  To capture the location customer, the business minded photographer can offer a location shoot for X dollars.  But then they can also offer a studio shoot for Y dollars showing the many advantages.  Then they can offer both for a combined price less than the sum of the two as a real value proposition.  Once the photographer gets the client to agree to doing at least some studio work, then they have the opportunity to truly impress them.  A common comment when the customer sees the results of a studio shoot is, "gosh...I had no idea that you could do all of this right in your studio where I felt so much more comfortable  The studio also offers the subject ways to be more sexy and provocative but in total privacy 24/7...

Take control of your photography and your customers.  Show them the options.

My program, “Follow Your Heart,” covers how I started my business in the basement of my home and soon had to build a bigger studio because of how quickly things grew. It also gives tips on how to set yourself apart from other photographers. I discuss how to stay resilient even through the inevitable storms that life sends our way and how to use that resiliency to help others.

Lora has used Virtual Backgrounds since she began in professional photography.
